Bachelor of Science

Bachelor of Science in Accounting is a four-year program that covers all accounting areas, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, tax, audit, and accounting information systems. Besides focusing on accounting knowledge, students will explore business processes, strategies, new technologies, and the latest software.

Many career options are available with a degree in Animal Science. Through experiential learning, the Animal Science program will provide a high quality educational experience. For the most part, students will complete general education courses during their first two years at NTU to prepare for more specialized courses in their third and fourth years.

Students develop a broad knowledge of biology that is integrated with dynamic high quality research programs in specialized areas like molecular biology, genetics, animal and plant physiology, ecology, cell and developmental biology, evolution and behavior. 

The chemistry department at NTU is actively involved in teaching and research. We are the first Native American University teach Bachelor of Science (B.S) in chemistry. The chemistry department has a state-of-the-art facility with all the necessary equipment and instrument to run all the essential chemistry labs and research activities.

The program is designed to prepare students for careers in the 21st century with the Navajo Nation, state, and federal agencies as well as private companies. Completion of the Computer Science program will enable employment opportunities in public and private sectors in diverse industries related to computing, such as software, automotive, healthcare, and aerospace.

Navajo Technical University is dedicated to prepare Early Childhood Professionals in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment at a baccalaureate level. Students work intensely and progressively to prepare for their State Early Childhood Teacher Licensure from Birth to 8 years old.

The electrical engineering program is designed to prepare students to design and improve electrical, electronic and computer systems. The program combines practical exposure to the most modern technologies available with a theoretical foundation that empowers students to master future changes and innovations.

The Environmental Engineering program focuses on preparing students to apply engineering principles and techniques to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable solutions. Graduates of the program can pursue careers in various sectors, including consulting firms, government agencies, industries, research institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

The Environmental Science & Natural Resources program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the natural world, environmental systems, and sustainable resource management. Graduates of the program can pursue diverse career paths, including roles in environmental consulting, natural resource management, conservation organizations, government agencies, research institutions, and education.

The Industrial Engineering program focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to optimize complex systems, processes, and operations within various industries. Graduates of the program can pursue various career paths in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, technology, consulting, and more.

The Mechanical Engineering program focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices involved in designing, analyzing, and manufacturing mechanical systems and devices. Mechanical engineers are involved in a wide range of industries, from aerospace and automotive to energy and manufacturing.
