Navajo Technical University is recognized by the National Center for Construction Education and Research as a Certified Accredited Training Education Facility. In cooperation with AGC New Mexico, Navajo Technical University is currently certified to train the following NCCER titles: Carpentry, Construction Technologies, Industrial Electrical, Electrical, Industrial Welding and Core Curriculum.

ACFEF Accreditation is a process of self-review for improvement of academic quality and public accountability of culinary arts/baking and pastry programs. This review takes place every 3-5 years or 7 years and typically invoices three major activities:

  • A self-study of the program using the standards of the ACFEF Accrediting Commission
  • A peer review of the program to gather evidence of quality and to verify documents submitted in the self-study
  • A decision/action by the ACFEF Accrediting Commission to grant accreditation, to grant with conditions, to accept a deferral request or to not accredit a program
Veterinary Technology (A.A.S.) NTU’s Veterinary Technician Program is accreditated by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). The AVMA accreditation will enable the NTU Veterinary Technician graduates to qualify for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).

Building Information Modeling (A.A.S.) Articulation Agreement between the Building Information Modeling Program Navajo Technical University and the Community and Regional Planning Department School of Architecture and Planning, University Of New Mexico at Albuquerque
Agreement
Articulation Agreement between San Juan College and Navajo Technical University, Crownpoint, New Mexico Purpose: The 2+2 articulation agreement between Navajo Technical University (NTU) San Juan College (SJC) determines equivalency of courses to be transferred.

The agreement will help students transfer their courses seamlessly between the two institutions. This agreement will be reviewed every three (3) years and is subject to change due to revisions in program curriculum.
Effective Date: November 4, 2019

Articulation between Diné College, Tsaile, Arizona and Navajo Technical University, Crownpoint, New Mexico Purpose: The 2+ 2 articulation between Dine College (DC) and Navajo Technical University (NTU) determines equivalency of courses to be transferred. The articulation will help students transfer their courses seamlessly between the two institutions.
