Crownpoint, New Mexico—On November 14, 2024, Navajo Technical University hosted Dr. Astrid Morreale, Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science.
Dr. Morreale presented to Dr. Abraham Mele’s Physics class students, discussing the opportunities that connect classroom learning to real-world innovations within the Department of Energy’s research programs. She shared valuable insights into the DOE’s laboratories and potential placements for students progressing with their research. The session was filled with career tips, knowledge, and inspiration that encouraged students to think beyond traditional boundaries.
