Thank you for your interest in the Leadership, Enrichment, and Advancement Program (L.E.A.P.). We are excited to offer this new opportunity for students looking to get a head start on their college journey.

About L.E.A.P.

L.E.A.P. is an intensive summer bridge program for first-time university students enrolling with Navajo Technical University (NTU). L.E.A.P. introduces students to campus life before New Student Orientation by offering them extensive academic courses, an introduction to NTU resources and programs, a range of extracurricular activities and by connecting them with supportive peers and mentors. Students accepted into the program are designated as L.E.A.P. Scholars and receive full funding for lodging, meals, and supplies for the duration of the program. L.E.A.P. is coordinated by the Department of Student Services.

The primary purpose of L.E.A.P. is to help admitted students succeed at NTU by easing your transition into college life. By attending classes, engaging with your peers, building friendships, getting to know campus staff and faculty, and building your leadership skills, L.E.A.P. will prepare you to soar into your first semester and beyond.

Applying to L.E.A.P.

Eligibility
L.E.A.P. is an intensive summer bridge program for first-time university students enrolling with NTU. Our primary purpose is to assist first-time university students in jumpstarting their academic lives and to ease their transition into our community. Accepted applicants will participate in all L.E.A.P. activities and classes while upholding the values and regulations of NTU.

The following are eligibility requirements to be a L.E.A.P. Scholar:

• applicants must have enrolled with NTU for Fall Semester.
• applicants must be a first time university student, meaning they just graduated from high school.
• applicants must have no history of behavioral issues in high school.
