Registered Nurse
Application Deadline
Applications for the NTU RN Program will be Due March 20, 2026 with a start date of Fall 2026.
The Navajo Technical University (NTU) Registered Nurse (RN) Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Program has gained much interest from students who are eager to enter the profession of nursing. The application process for admission to the program is separate from the overall NTU admission process. Please note, you will need to apply to Navajo Technical University and you will also need to apply to the Registered Nurse Program during the next application cycle in March of 2026. All prerequisites and eligibility criteria must be met before you apply for the program. Due to faculty shortage, we must keep our class size at 10-15 students per cohort. 15 students will begin the first RN program offering in Fall of 2024 so, program slots are very limited. Please ensure you maintain the highest GPA especially in math and science courses. To be prepared for the courses, we recommend math and sciences course be taken within the last 8 years.
