A Glance at NTU Radio Station
CROWNPOINT, NM – In 2016, Navajo Technical University radio station 107.3 FM KCZY launched onto the airwaves in as a community and educational broadcasting station. The radio station provides information about NTU with community events and activities to its listenership across the eastern agency of the Navajo Nation. The broadcast is also received on the internet to reach audiences outside its terrestrial broadcast. The station is currently managed by Cuyler R. Frank who oversees daily operations and the volunteers who assist with broadcasting live information and entertainment. KCZY has recently incorporated syndicated shows from Koanic broadcasting netework such as Native America Calling, National Native News, and Indigifi to offer a variety of music and updated news from native communities in the nation. The station also offers NTU students, faculty, staff, as well as community members to share their stories through radio broadcasting. To learn more about KCZY contact Cuyler R.
