The Heavy Equipment Certificate program, which can be completed in a single semester, offers professional instruction in operating and servicing large construction machinery. The training covers essential competencies such as Pre-trip Inspection, Backing Skills, and Air Brakes.
To ensure alignment with State and Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) standards, the curriculum focuses on safety protocols and equipment mastery, including hours of service, weight and balance, and highway and urban driving operations.
