Meet the Fall 2026 Student Senate:
+ Shinaeya Watson — President | Cybersecurity and Information Technology
+ Tamalaya Begaye — Vice President | Accounting
+ Jonathan Dennison — Treasurer | Cybersecurity and Computer Science
+ Keisha R. Edmonds — Master-at-Arms | Industrial Engineering
The Student Senate provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills while representing their peers. Through participation, students can help bring forward campus concerns, support student activities, collaborate with university leadership, and contribute to decisions that affect student life.
Did you know? Working with Student Senate can help students build professional connections, gain practical leadership experience, strengthen their résumés, and develop skills that transfer directly into the workplace. It is also an opportunity to turn student ideas into initiatives that benefit the wider NTU community.
NTU welcomes students at all instructional sites to get involved, share their perspectives, and explore opportunities for leadership and campus engagement.
Planning your next step? Pre-registration is open for the Spring 2027 semester. Contact your local NTU administrative office to learn about available programs, registration, and opportunities to get involved.
