Crownpoint, NM – Congratulations to Deb Haaland on winning her election for NM State Governor! Thank you for visiting NTU and welcoming all students, faculty, and staff. The meet-and-greet gave the NTU community a dedicated forum to connect, ask questions, and share perspectives.
During her visit, Haaland toured NTU’s fabrication lab with Digital Technology Center Coordinator Scott Halliday, inspecting equipment like 3D printers, metal additive manufacturing systems, CT scanners, powder analyzers, and CNC machinery.
She also joined KCZY Radio Station Manager Cuyler Frank for a live broadcast across the eastern Navajo Nation, discussing clean energy, job growth, and environmental stewardship in New Mexico.
NTU thanks the Culinary Arts department, the KCZY broadcast crew, the fabrication lab students who presented a gift of appreciation, and NTU security for supporting the event.
