Crownpoint, NM – On February 11, 2026, Chenoah Curley of Two Grey Hills, NM, signed her letter of intent to join the Navajo Technical University (NTU) cross country team for the 2026–27 season. She was joined by NTU faculty, staff, students, and Head Coach Lee as she officially committed to the program.

While attending NTU, Chenoah plans to major in Culinary Arts and continue into the Professional Baking program. Her passion for cooking began at a young age, inspired by watching her grandmother in the kitchen. Over the years, that inspiration has grown into a deep love for the culinary arts.

Chenoah chose NTU after conversations about returning to school and competing in cross country—an opportunity made even more meaningful as her grandfather, Coach Lee, leads the program. Once she made her decision, plans quickly came together to finalize her enrollment and athletic commitment.

.Motivated to become one of the first in her family to earn a college degree, Chenoah is determined to complete her education. She is also driven by the desire to provide her daughter with a stable and fulfilling life. After earning her culinary degree, she hopes to build a successful career in the culinary field.

The NTU cross country team is currently recruiting athletes for the 2026–27 season. NTU offers an affordable, high-quality education close to home. Registration for the upcoming summer and fall semesters will open soon.
