November is Indigenous Cultural Heritage Month! This event is coordinated by numerous departments at NTU and aims to bring together students, staff, faculty, and community members from all Indigenous backgrounds to celebrate our collective identities. As a tribal university, NTU is a testament to the resolve and fortitude of our ancestors and the impactful work for tribal sovereignty. Our students, staff, faculty, and the community are a huge part of that effort. We must also be grateful and mindful of our history and how we came to be here. Indigenous Cultural Heritage Month is about celebrating everything that makes us who we are not only as Dine' or Native American, but also as Indigenous people. That is why the theme for this month-long series of events is "Unapologetically Indigenous."
