Sarah Llanque lectures to students on structure and function of the cardiovascular system.

The NTU Communications Department is proud to introduce to our community NTU’s new Nursing Professor, Sarah Llanque. Sarah comes to us from Spokane, Washington where she worked at Family Nurse Practitioner CHAS Health, a low-income clinic. Her back ground is in geriatric nursing, in particular Alzheimer’s caregiving and chronic disease management. Sarah says the root word education comes from the Greek word “educore,” which means “to bring out.” Sarah’s goal is to “bring out” the students potential and love of learning in her classes coupled with NTU’s Diné Philosophy of Education.

Please be sure to greet Sarah next time you see here on campus! For more information about Sarah or our pre nursing program, please contact sllanque@navajotech.edu.
