NTU would like to congratulate our Land Grant and Gardening project as well as student intern Leighton Garcia for winning several awards at the Navajo Nation Fair's Horticulture event!

The program took first for their beets, second for their zucchini squash, yellow squash, and watermelon, and third for their green chili jalapeños…all of that in addition to maintaining a booth at our Maker Faire where they performed a demonstration on soil.
