NTU is pleased to announce that the Institution Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission approved a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science on September 9, 2019. The new degree will be offered on Navajo Technical University's Crownpoint campus this upcoming spring semester.
The new degree program is designed to provide technical and applied instruction in the biological, physical, technical, and economic aspects of livestock production. The degree includes application of basic principles of selection, animal breeding, animal nutrition, reproduction, feeding and management of livestock for the production of meat, milk, and wool.
