Navajo Technical University would like to thank everyone for their patience while we’ve been working on getting out Pell financial aid disbursements. As was mentioned earlier in the year, NTU was required to update our degree program files with the U.S. Department of Education in order to reference our programs and ensure each were in compliance. As this process occurred, we were locked out of the system until the update was complete.
As of yesterday, we were allowed access back into the system and can now begin processing the second batch of disbursements. If you have not received your Pell disbursement, please review your MyNTU account to check on the status of your financial aid. If you need help accessing your MyNTU account, email Sharon Platero at email@example.com.
We are aiming to distribute the next batch of disbursements to those that have completed their financial aid applications by March 30, 2020. Students, please make sure your address is updated.
For more information, contact our Financial Aid department at 505.387.7442 or 505.387.7417 or email Tyrrell Hardy at firstname.lastname@example.org, Yolanda Begay at email@example.com or Rena Tom at firstname.lastname@example.org. Mrs. Tom is also sending out emails to students missing documents and those that haven’t filled out their FAFSA form. Please monitor your email. If you don’t complete your form, disbursements will be further delayed.
We are working diligently at getting the final disbursements to students and will maintain constant communication as more developments occur. Again, thank you for your patience.
