Pre-Engineering Certificate


The Certificate Program in Pre-Engineering requires 33 credit hours and is designed for a one-year program of study. The program is designed to prepare students for entry into one of Navajo Technical University's (NTU) engineering or technology programs. All of the credits earned as part of the certificate program apply fully to first year requirements in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Digital Manufacturing. The program is designed to be offered via e-learning technologies and methods to three categories of students:

  • High school students through the Dual Credit Program
  • Adult learners at a distance (both on and off the Navajo Reservation
  • On-campus NTU students
